Goals & Motivation
I’ve never been one to invent or create something that is already created and is something I agree with. So, when I wanted to create a webpage about what I use to motivate myself, I started with the Wiktionary and Wikipedia.
Wiktionary * defines motivation as:
- Willingness of action esp. in behavior
- The action of motivating.
- Something which motivates.
- An incentive or reason for doing something.
while Wikipedia * defines it as: “the set of reasons that determines one to engage in a particular behavior… motivation may be rooted in the basic need to minimize physical pain and maximize pleasure, or it may include specific needs such as eating and resting, or a desired object, hobby, goal, state of being…”
